Please note NEW day and location – Gordon Pierce from the Steuben County Historical Society will speak on his recently published 366 Days in the Life of a Young Woman, Daisy’s Diary - 1908, Transcription with Commentary - the diary of Daisy Wetmore Conrad. Daisy grew up on her family’s farm in Springwater and moved to Wayland after her marriage to Henry Conrad. She was well known for her hooked rugs. When she died in 1987 at the age of 105, she was recognized as Steuben County’s oldest resident.
Please join the Springwater Webster Crossing Historical Society for a dish-to-pass dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the program at 7:15 p.m. at the Springwater Town Hall, 8022 South Main Street. All programs are free and open to the public. Donations for the support of the Historical Society are welcome.
